Where would you rather live Seattle or Las Vegas? and why?

It depends if you are actually referring to live in Las Vegas. In which case I would have to choose Seattle. Simply because I wouldn't want to be so close to that type atmosphere around the clock. Plus I think that Seattle is an all around nice place to live. Good weather, beautiful, good location, etc. Plus it would be closer to the port for an Alaskan cruise, so I could go more often.

But if you are referring to some place in Nevada than I might consider that. I have family in the Henderson area and it is a very nice place to live. So I would consider that.

Seattle! It is beautiful anytime of the year, the ocean, lush greenery, flowers, near the gorgeous Olympic Peninsula, the San Juan Islands, gateway to Canada, on and on and on. Las Vegas is hot, dusty, windy, ALOT of crime, nothing but desert for miles and miles and miles and miles, north, east, south or west.

I would rather live in Vegas because I've been living here for a long time, the weather sometimes is so crazy..lol like last week, i woke up and it was raining outside and 2 hours later the sun came out and a few hours later it was snowing and raining(yes, it snows in Vegas)and the very next day the sun was out like nothing happened this doesn't happen all the time but it does happen, if your really into snow 20 minutes away is Mount Charleston were people go snow board, ski etc., i like living here except for the dog days of summer but i can deal with it.

Definitely, Seattle. I love the cool damp weather. And the air is so clean and fresh. It's like San Francisco use to be. But, that doesn't mean we want you all moving up here. Come and visit, but we don't want to become over populated.

Las Vegas is bright and fun and pretty, but after I get tired of the noise (and the one armed bandits with their blinking lights and ringing tones are EVERYWHERE), I'd rather be in Seattle where I can turn everything off and sit in peace and quiet. The outdoors are prettier in Seatle and thtere are so many things to do culturally. Las Vegas is one tracked as well as one-armed.

Las Vegas because like what's there in Seattle?

I asked a question similar like this one before. I would rather live in Las Vegas. There are so many places a lot of people haven't heard of yet. People think it's all gambling and stuff. Well, it isn't. If you go down to Henderson(15-20 mins away), you will see that it is very residential. There are many places to buy nice homes, such as Seven Hills. Seattle is a little bit too "rainy". Vegas always has beautiful weather.

If I could afford Las Vegas I would like to live there because it's flat so it would be easier to get around by bicycle. Also, I love magic and they have a bunch of live magic shows there.

Seattle has fabulous weather. Little snow in the winter and it doesn't get very hot in the summer.

I would live in Seattle because it's less loud and more peaceful on average. Also, there is a nightlife in Seattle downtown, although clearly the Las Vegas nightlife is much more interesting. I'm not much of a gambler too. The weather in Seattle is basically pretty mild and often rainy, which isn't that bad. Also, it's closer to Canada, so if I'm annoyed by the US, I could always take a 3-4 hour trip there.
