Which disney world hotel is better?

I am planning to suprise my family to go to Disney world. But I can't decide which hotel is better in there. Hotels: Swan hotel, dolphin hotel, disney beach club, all star sport, all star music, all star pop, all star movie, Nick family hotel, etc.... Which is more nice, and more fun. I don't mind if it is too expensive. Please help!

I would defiantly have to say Beach Club. The theme and atmosphere is great for families and it is really close to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. You can take a ferry or walk to either one. It is also close to the Boardwalk which has really good restaurants and fun activities. It shares a pool with the Yacht Club Resort (the two hotels are basically connecting) which is amazing. I also think if your family has younger kids it would be really easy to eat because it has two other hotels really close and the Marketplace (gift shop/general store) has really good snack and easy meal items. Beaches and Cream has the BEST sundaes!!!! http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/resorts/resortLanding?id=BeachClubResortLandingPage
I also agree with the person that said Animal Kingdom Lodge, but I think it might not be as easy or fun with younger kids.

Whichever you choose good luck and have fun!

If you donÂŽt mind the price, I would recommend:

Grand Floridian, very close to Magic Kingdom
Animal Kingdom Lodge, you can see the animals from the rooms!
Swan/Dolphin Hotel

Well if your going for Swan & dolphin, seriously skip on the all star resorts.

Go for the moderate resorts. My husband and I love staying in the Caribbean Beach Resort. The staff is great, the dining area has lots of selection & the main pool is HUGE with a slide, there's a little island where the children can play in the middle of the bay!! Honestly look into staying in one of the moderate resorts, I know that Coronado Springs Resort is pretty nice as well.

Good luck on your search and I hope you have a magical day!!

The Sawn and Dolphin dont really have that Disney Magic. My favourite hotel is the Polynesian I've stayed there 5 times. I've stayed at the Contemporary twice and that is also grat love the remodel. Also did the Port Orleans Riverside its great but its nicer to stay at the monorail resorts because its so much easier to get everywheres. Just bought into the Vacation Club and my home is the Animal Kingdom can't wait to stay there. The rooms are beautiful.

all depend of the type of family, it is will have kids or not. Nickoledeon Hotel is my option if you have kids for this travel, why, because it has more cool pools that all hotels inside Disney. your kids will be very excited. but if you dont have kids, disney hotels (Nickelodeon aren't disney hotel, it is 3 to 5 minutes away from disney in car) are divided in four categories Value, Moderated, Luxury, and Away from home. value are all the all star hotel, the pop, movie, music, and sports. moderate have carribean beach that is a good option, luxury, are comtemporany a good option, also the polynesian, and Grand Floridian, the Fort Wilderness Lodge is also excelent.

I havent stayed there but I suggest the Animal Kingdom Lodge if you are interested in seeing animals outside your hotel window. Just remember to book a Savanna View room and dont feed the animals. ;)

I've never been to the swan hotel or dolphin hotel, but I pass it at least a couple of times every time I'm in Disney World, and it seems really nice.I've gone to "Beaches and Cream," a restaurant at the Beach Club, and it's very good!It has "the kitchen sink" which is a GIANT ice cream sundae!I've been inside the hotel, too:very nice, big, and it seemed very hospitable. The Beach Club is also very short walking distance from EPCOT.The all stars are nice and very well-themed,but they are also not fancy like the Grand Floridian. The prices are much less expensive for a night in the all stars, though! There is no All Star Pop,though...I think you might be thinking of the Pop Century...it's very similar to the All Star hotels, and is very nice. The All-Stars have huge food courts where you can get food at any time (I think the Pop Century might have this, too, but I'm not sure.) The Nick hotel is not at all associated with Disney, and I've been told that it is in the middle of nowhere.Kids have enjoyed it,but adults and older teens have not been very satisfied.

One Disney hotel you did not mention that I think you would really enjoy is the Animal Kingdom Lodge! It's huge, very exotic, and has a pool with a water slide! The big thing about it,though,is that it has African animals roaming around the back! It's like the hotel's own private mini safari!I haven't even stayed there yet and it's my favorite Walt Disney World resort!

No matter what you'll have a magical time!!!!

The grand will always be the best. Out of the ones you mentioned swan and dolphin are not owned by disney. one is owned by the marriot and the other by shertan so you might want to check and see how those work. all star music has just been completely refurbshed. we were there at the begiing of april and they were putting the final touches on each room and it looked great. all of the all stars are great for children but arent the best for relaxing

my personal favorite is animal kingdom lodge savana view... beach club is awesome 2 and i LOVE their pool. dawn n dolphin are plain dumb. ive never been to any of the all star ones but they are cheaper but they look like fun. if price isnt an option i would go for the grand floridain!!! dont do nick family hotel because thats not disney and you wont get the benifits u would at a disney hotel.

i got you dancing :)

if u don't mind if it's too expenisve, the Disney Dolphin hotel..its so classy and pretty there!the pool is pretty and you can take a boats to MGM and Epcot...its awesome there!

If you don't mind price, go for the Polynesian Resort if you like the relaxing, island idea! It is so tropical feeling, great employees, has 2 pools, one mostly for kids and another that not many people are around, so its nice. If you go around the pool where kids go however, you can see the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom from Cinderella's Castle at night, and the electrical light parade which is cute to see atleast once. Everytime my family and I have gone there and needed something we got it, they are all so helpful there. Also, This is on the monorail and a walk away from the TTC! and the other option is to take the ferry across the water to the magic kingdom at night, its nice.

have fun!

the boardwalk is my favorite disney resort. if you spring for concierge level you get continental breakfast, morn snack, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, night snack, and desert. they always have food! and youre right by the boardwalk which has plenty activities if you dont want to go into a park for a day.

Ok well first things first...Swan and Dolphin are both nice and located on property but aren't considered Disney hotels because they are not owned by Disney.
The Nick Hotel isn't on Disney property and isn't owned by Disney.
That leaves the all star resorts/pop century versus Disney beach club. Really there is a huge difference with the value resorts you are going to get very basic hotel room. With a deluxe resort you will be closer to theme parks (within walking distance), you will have restaurant at your resort, a cool pool, concierge level, nicer rooms and amenities. I would stay at Beach/Yacht Club :)

Caribbean Beach, Coronado Springs, Port Orleans Riverside and Port Orleans French Quarter.

Animal Kingdom Lodge, BoardWalk Inn, Contemporary, Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Wilderness Lodge, Yacht Club and Beach Club, and the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin.

Disney Vacation Club Resorts: Amenities at these resorts offer full-service restaurants, kitchen facilities, pizza delivery, luggage service, swimming pools, on-site recreation, front-door parking, flexible room arrangements, bus or boat transportation. Old Key West, BoardWalk Villas, Villas at Wilderness Lodge, Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa, Beach Club Villas, and Animal Kingdom Villas.

If you are going for the first time, and you can afford it, stay at the Polynesian. It is very kid appealing, and the most convenient Disney World resort. If you can't afford the Poly, stay at Pop Century.

Skip Swan Dolphin--they don't have all the advantages of the true Disney World hotels. See this for more on where to stay at Disney World: http://yourfirstvisit.net/planning-your-first-family-trip/where-to-stay/

Have a great trip!! Dave
