Which hotel in Vegas would be best? |
A group of 4 guys all 21-22 are going to Vegas for spring break and we want a hotel with a good party scene, location, and room without the huge prices of the Bellagio. I have heard the Palms and Hard Rock is perfect for people our age but we are a little worried it is to far away from the strip. Are we wrong? |

There is no way you're going to be walking from the Hard Rock or the Palms to the strip. You want an inexpensive hotel right in the middle of everything, stay at the Imperial Palace. True, the place is basically a dump, but you're in close walking distance to the Flamingo, Harrah's, Venetian, Mirage, Caesars, O'Shea's (good party place) and Billagio.
Plus, you're also near Casino Royale, where you can play $2 blackjack & roulette and $1 craps.
Do your homework and enjoy yourselves. |

I think I would vote for the Palms for you. It's a perfect place for young people to party. If you want to hang out on the Strip for a day or an evening, it's it's a very short cab ride (only about a mile) from the Palms. |

Rio Suites is my favorite. (best food Big-very BIG- buffet- and you get to go to the front of the line if you stay there)
Don't worry about being off the strip. You will take taxis, tram or walk, Walking is good, you get to see all the people.
the club is nice, but you should look to see who is in town. most of the shows are good but, hey, it is Vegas and not everyone wants to see a show, but if you see, Your favorite band playing on Fremont street, you should stop by. |

I gotta say Palms, its more earthly and many people can go there.
But it depends on you as well. Hard Rock is cool too. |

I stayed at luxor for my 21st and loved it. prices are not bad either. and the cab fare to the hotel from the airport is cheaper. LAX is a good night club at least i thought it was. Going back in april and staying there for my hubbys 21st. |

Palms and Hard Rock age group is skewing older now. The kids from L.A. that first made them cool in the 1990s are now in their late 20s or early 30s and making money. Palms and Hard Rock are growing up with them and shifting their vibe to an slighty older and more affluent crowd.
For a traditional spring break stuff experience on a college budget, I would recommend Flamingo as the best option.
-Cheap rooms but still decent, upgraded GO rooms are comparable to the basic rooms at Palms or Hard Rock.
-Surprisingly good pools, including a topless pool (not an option at Palms or Hard Rock)
-Walking distance to almost every major nightlife spot (and Denny's)
-Girls will not laugh at you if you say you are staying there, like they will if you say Imperial Palace or Harrah's. |

I would recommend you stay at Caesars Palace, but be sure to look for cheap room rates on the internet. Caesars is located in the middle of the Strip and hosts some of the best parties in town at PURE.
Good luck and have a great trip! |

There are free shuttles from the Rio to Bally's. That's what we used to get to the Palms. I recommend Harrah's. In the center of everything and you're really not in your room that much. Really fun outdoor bar next to it called Carnaval Court. |

You might enjoy the Hard Rock or The Venetian on the strip, or you might get a good deal at the Bellagio using Priceline, Travelocity or Expedia at
