Luxor is beautiful. Has a fantastic pool area.

Sahara is nice. Great pool.

Mandalay Bay is awesome. Decent pool.

NewYork, NewYork is my favorite. The pool is fabulous.

If you like themed and a great pool, check out Caesars. The pool is amazing, there is a large fountain there. Bellagio also has a great pool area, its divided into different areas in a roman garden setting and its quiet and private. They even have fountains. You'll feel miles away from Vegas. Bonus, the rooms are great.
The Flamingo has a great pool but the hotel is not really themed. They have a waterfall grotto.
Rio has a nice pool set up as does the Mirage with the tropical theme.
Mandalay Bay has a really neat pool area, it has a wave pool. MGM has a lazy river.
If you want pure luxury, try Wynn's or the Venetian
TI's, the Luxor, Paris', Excalibur, NY NY's pools are all so so, nothing special, not outstanding.

Not the "best" place to stay but Hard Rock's "Rehab" Sunday pool scene is something that you have to experience at least once.

Great ( There are more luxurious ones, but the fun ones are ),
Rio, Flamingo, Palm, and Hard rock.

The most theme oriented is Rio, and probably best all around.

The Flamingo is one of the best hotels. My personal favorite is the Excalibur, but the New York New York is probably the way to go!!

I love New York, New York.... it's like being in NYC. I also love the Bellagio and Mandalay Bay.

But, for the pool... go for the Flamingo and rent a cabana.

Never stay at the Stratosphere! When building it, there was a fire at the top... there was no hose in the valley to reach that high so they had to let it burn half way down. Then a couple years ago, there was a kitchen fire and only 10% of the sprinklers actually worked properly!!
Circus Circus and the Excalibur had some of the worst heath ratings in the whole valley!
I personally like the Flamingo if you want a pool. They have 4 pools and 2 hot tubs. Theyre layered and have several slides going into each pools. Theres a couple waterfalls and even a secret passage through one! I think its the best pool on the strip!
I also like the Luxor. The rooms are nice. However, the elevators frequently break and there are lots of teenage hotel parties [you might have a room next to one of the parties!!]
Caesers Palace and the Mirage are good too.
