Which is better Disneyland or Walt Disney World?

It depends on ages of kids, family, what you are looking for, etc. I think that Disneyland is great because it is the original. It is where it all started and where it all began. Without Disneyland we may not have Disney World. It still has the magic of the original park. Plus, it is smaller. While this may sound like a dissapointing thing, it really isn't. If it is your first trip, it really is a good way to see what Disney will be like, though it is completely different from Disney World. You can get used to the fact and prepare for Disney World. Plus, there are lots of great parks in the area.

Disney World is great because everyone can find something that they will enjoy. It's bigger so there is a lot more to do. It's closer to me, so I like it for that reason. Plus I can go from Disney World to the Disney cruise, so that is great.

For a smaller park and less to do, but still have the feeling of the original, I would go Disneyland.

For a larger park with lots to do I would go Disney World.

For me, I think I would pick Disney World, just because that is the one I have visited most. I also like how big it is. But the Disney fan in me wants to say Disneyland ;-)

Disney World. But be sure to rent a car when you get here, otherwise the Disney people will hold you captive and never let you out of THEIR parks. You see, there are plenty of other parks in Orlando, but Disney will do everything it can to keep you and your vacation DOLLAR$ on their property - this includes steering you away from Avis...

Disney World, newer, larger.

Disneyworld is the DADDY.. Disneyland is the poor relative that offers a taster of the real Macoy..

Neither. They are both circles of Hell. Why anyone would want to go to a place where they stand in line for hours to hear a bunch of creepy animated puppets sing "It's a Small world After All" is beyond me. Give me a pristine National Forest any day.

WDW it is great im going there this summer with my family and it will be our 2nd time!

Walt Disney World is definetely better for many reasons. Disneyland is centered in a crowded neon jungle which has been way oversold and does not give the disney feel which belongs to the Walt Disney World Resort. WDW offers many more parks and attractions at a similar price.

World if its a family week long vacation and you can dedicate time to seeing more than one park. I guess land makes a good weekend trip even though you can see all the park for sure in a day. Disneyland is smaller than Six Flags Over Texas but you still get the Disney experience. Disney World is huge but has so many things to see and do. Good for all ages!

DISNEY WORLD!

As my kids would say, " Land, not World"

They were to both, and at 15 and12, they would both pick the CA location over FL. Climate is better, for one -- the park is smaller and therefore more manageable, lines are shorter.

The Disney experience is a magical one, one not to be missed!
