Niagara Falls is better, I've been to both. Its the dynamic nature of the falls that outs it over the top...all the force, the noise. BE SURE to take the Maid of the Mist boat excursion, you can thank me later!!!! |

I haven't been to Niagara Falls but from the people I know (including my husband), none of them seemed terribly impressed. I have been to the Grand Canyon and I thought that was amazing.

I've never been to the Grand Canyon, but I have been to Nia. Falls many times (I live not too far from the Falls, American side...). It is very beautiful, and definetly something to see! If going to Nia. Falls, visit the Canadian side! It's a lot nicer, better ammenitites, cleaner, etc.!! Go see the falls! |

Both are great and very unique natural wonders that you should see at some time.
If you are travelling in the summertime (June-July-August), I would choose Niagara Falls over Grand Canyon 'cause Arizona is gonna be H-O-T!
And in the Wintertime, I would pick Arizona over Niagara, again due to weather. |

That depends on what you like. Why the limited choices? And which Niagara Falls.... the Canadian side or the USA side?
Although I would go to the Grand Canyon, I like hiking and the steam locomotives at the Grand Canyon Railroad, Niagara Falls also has its own attributes as well, particularly if you are into gambling which I am not.
Have you tried the internet site to see what information interests you about these places? They often include pictures. |

Ive been to Niagara , theres lots of tours you can do like behind the falls, you can go in a bot that takes you feet from the falls ! its truly amazing. And by the falls theres a place called Clifton hill & its a great place to go. I have never been to the Grand Canyon , but id strongly suggest Niagara Falls. xo.

The US side is a dump.
The Canadian side is a different kind of dump, a commercial eyesore.
The Grand Canyon is Nature in it's own beauty. |
