I personally think Kentuckians are friendly. And as for a person's comment above, I've yet to meet a Kentuckian who likes that lisence plate, it is the most defaced and ridiculious one yet, sorry. I can say that because I am from Kentucky.
As for meaniest, all the people I know that have traveled say New York people are massively rude. I haven't been though. |

Meanest? - Illinois. In the northern part of Illinois, Chicago is one of the rudest towns. And southern Illinois has the worst rednecks anywhere. Seems even as adults, they are bullies and love to bash kind hearted people. Wish I could move away from here. Even Los Angeles was friendlier. |

Tennessee is the friendliest state I've been to. Can't say a mean state, but can say some pretty mean cities. New York is at the top, Scottdale, AZ is another.
My favorite is the West Coast in general though! |

the state itself dont matter, what matters most is those people who live on that certain state! The culture values are those things to consider, but now a days, You cant really tell for a lot of immigrants even illegals are invading america, so we have different culture,values,religions in every state,that is why you cant really tell which one is the meaniest or friendliest,but speaking generally specially in terms of the law I think they're all the same since they are all in one country ruled and governed by one nation,law and constitution. |

I have been in several states in the center of the country. I have found that, in general, the further north, the ruder people are. And that people are ruder in more affluent areas. |

I think the friendliness people are in the North Carolina or anywhere in the south (other than Florida). The meanest or nastiest are from New York or California (or any state that is heavily populated.) |
