- impressive mountain ranges: Sierra Nevada, Cascades, Trinity Alps and Siskyous, coastal, San Gabriels, Tehachapi, Big Sur/Ventena
- white water rivers in the Sierra Nevada
- highest domant volcano in N. America - Mt Shasta
- San Francisco - voted most favorite city to visit by WW travelers for years
- Los Angeles
- wine region (counties): Napa, Sonoma, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz mtns, Amador and many more

Florida. There is lots more here than Disney and the beaches.
Up around Gainesville and Lake City, you can swim in chrystal clear springs. It's cold, but the most refreshing water. There are small historic towns throughout the state.
For nightlife and big city things, visit Tampa, Miami, and Jacksonville.

North Jersey beaches are awesome, especially Point Pleasant! One of the best boardwalks around. South Jersey beaches aren't bad, either- try Ocean City, or Atlantic City.

NJ might have a bad rep, but there's plenty to do here. The aquarium in Camden is great. And it doesn't smell as bad as they say. Honestly.

Arkansas has the only diamond mine open to the public. It has some nice lakes for fishing and boating. And it has the Clinton Library.

Tennessee. Mountains, lakes, white water rapids, rivers and friendly people. Then there is Nashville. The home of country music. Dollywood. Civil War battlefields. Good roads.

Oregon!!
Most beautiful and rugged coast, especially the southern half.
That I think is greatest attractionl.

But ... in Oregon .. you have mountains, ski resorts, Many lakes, lots of camping and wilderness areas, a high desert, urban areas, an agricultural valley, wild water rafting ... you name it, Oregon has it.

Texas. Drive all day, and you still won't see it all.
