To me every State has its good and bad sides. I personaly like Texas the most. I lived In Kentucky, Oklahoma and Texas and I liked Texas best. The weather is nice and the people were great.

Well, you're close, but I have to give a vote to Iowa. I know, I know, the farming states don't usually get such a great reputation, but Iowa has been the most wonderful place to grow up adn will be a wonderful place to raise children.

In addition to the educational system, friendliness of the residents, etc., Iowa really is beautiful. Any one who has spent any substantial amount of time in the state knows that it is NOT that flat- hillier than Illinois, actually! There are beautiful limestone bluffs, rolling hills, etc.

You have to see it to understand. I also have to give one vote to Washington state... Seattle is perhaps my favorite place in the world other than home, and I think that anyone who visits must feel the same!

California... without a doubt.

It has the single largest economy in the US. The bulk of all new technology comes out of California. They're mostly (90%) liberal and want to make the world a safer place. It also has several distinct climate zones ranging from cool, temperate to sunny, sunny, sunny.

There are oceans, beaches, sun, snow, wine districts, dolphins, wales, cruises, Hollywood, Six Flags, Disneyland, San Francisco... I could go on but why do I need to? :)
