I love Detroit, I always have. I have lived here for a long time, weve moved to Greenvill S.C, but there is nothing like Detroit, If you cant make here, you cant make it anywhere!!
We moved back here when I was 16, back in 93, we lived there for 2 years. Detroit has some very bad spots, but there is bad everywhere you rather its here in Detroit, or Washington, Its about how you carry yourself tho. The economy does suck, Detroit has a positive, and a negative.There are negative people, and some very good hearted, sweet people, i know cause im one of the sweet ones! Not a good place for kids at all tho. |

I'll feel better after I get my weapons permit...Unfortunately, when the economy suffers and unemployment increases so does crime. It's been like that for the last 30 odd years and it's not getting better.
Sad affairs. I'm moving ASAP. I live in a suburb outside Detroit and just don't like how dead the city of Detroit is, though i've been in every nook and cranny. Now that I have a child, it's not somewhere I want to raise her. |

I like it. I would like it even more if their were more jobs and more police to patrol the city. Fixing the neighborhoods in the city wouldn't hurt either. Instead of focusing on downtown, focus on the city of Detroit as a whole. |

I love Detroit. It's my favorite city EVER. I lived in a suburb of Detroit for almost 20 years & that had to move due to the economy. |

I don't. I have lived here for 5 years, and if the economy was any better, I would love to move out of here and find a new job. I think my biggest problem with the city is how rude a lot of the people are here.
I would also like to see the rebuilding of the downtown area stepped up, so it could eventually turn into something similar to Chicago... |

I do!! Everyone always hears the negative things about Detroit. First of all..Detroit is a huge city and there are many good areas and many bad areas. Downtown Detroit is awesome!! I live in the suburbs and we go down there almost every weekend! |
