Why can't Americans accept the fact that Europe is a MILLION times better than the USA????

It's their ideology and belief that U.S.A. is always the best...But I believe that many Americans who have had a chance to visit Europe don't think that U.S.A. is the best any more...I also feel sorry for them, because even when I think about the poorest country in Europe it has so many things that make life more beautiful then in the U.S. The first question they ask immigrants here is: "Do you like being here? More freedoms?" Working two or three jobs, not knowing your neighbors, and always rushing somewhere- is that the freedom they're talking about? The only thing Americans have is money, and, many times, money doesn't make us happier. I'm sorry guys, but I don't see anything special in America-only the power to control the rest of the world.And maybe even that power won't last long. well' it's always nice and encouraging to believe that your nation is the best.

Please, don't misunderstand me, I love Americans because they are so relaxed and open, but politics sucks!

We really do have it all in the United States. Taller mountains, beautiful desserts, fantastic beaches, restraunts of all kinds. We have people from all over the world living here. Wonderful cultural experiences. Festivals. Europe is a lovely, wonderful, historical place. But our forfathers left this "wonderful" place because they couldn't stand it anymore...:)

I like Europe just fine and I think it's a good place 2 be but the US isn't bad either...sur ewe have our share of problems but doesn't every country?
I don't feel bad for yall...and I don't think there's anything yall should feel sorry for us for...it's not a competition...Europe and the US are both good places to live, one's not 'better' than the other.

Really, they can't help it. Have you read their news? There it is all slanted like the US is the only country in the world. The people are told that they are the world! Look at their national game tournaments, they are all labelled as world series or championship. And the only "world" participating are foreigners on the local teams. Really, many Americans do not know what exist outside of USA, maybe they are more familiar with Mexico than any other country. So, it is not right to say that they are worse than Europeans. Anyway, they came from your same stock.

Have you been here? We've been there and in some respects you are correct. Europe is older and thankfully you've preserved your historical buildings so there's so much to see of the way things used to be. Our history doesn't go back very far so if you want to see the way things are and the direction for the future, you'd do well to visit our side of the pond. We'd welcome you with open arms! I know you just wanted to stimulate discussion so hopefully my comments will get some responses.

Um, no. I am an American and I moved to Europe about 6 months ago. I thought it'd be this great experience and I was really excited. Wow was I wrong. I have been to the tourist spots, and they are okay for an hour, but most are old and dirty and not at all what you euro peeps make it out to be. Seriously I miss home so much, it's 100 times better. Obviously you've never been to the States before. If I ever meet anyone that's considering wasting their money on a trip to europe I'm going to tell them don't do it, go somewhere cool like Hawaii or Florida (U.S., by the way, sweetie). And as far as the guy who mentioned the world series events when it's just us, well, that's just because no one else is really good enough to play with us. Except the Canadians and hockey. They can play because they are good. You have your...soccer, right. Yeah, and you kill eachother over that boring sport? I'm really not trying to be mean, I'm just calling it like I see it. But if you want to come to the States and experience how kick a** it is over here, go for it. It's an awesome place you'll love it, really.

Oh, this is so laughable, really. Your europeans, are a bunch of pansys, you talk funny, you walk funny, and you even smell funny, thats right, I said it you know you women need to start shaving. When the **** hits the fan, us Americans are ready for it, you Europeans run from it, and cower away your miesly existence. Dont feel sorry for us, feel sorry for yourselfs.
