florida is in a bad position for starters, bordered on two sides by ocean, also there was once a constant low pressure system that used to sit close to the floridian coast, when huuricanes would head in floridas direction they would usually bounce of the system and head out to sea. Now, that system is gone due to the stress weve put on our enviroment leaving florida vulnerable. |

Most hurricanes typically start off the Northern Africa coast. Then they shoot across the Atlantic for the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico, and Florida is in a bad spot when that happens. |

decoder, there have ALWAYS been hurricanes. Also, the earth has been warming for the last 18,000 years, since the peak of the last ice age. Now, unless you can provide evidence that ancients people produced car exhaust, built power plants, had space voyages, and produced unrecycled materials, your statement is nonsensical. |
