Why does everyone love Georgia so much?

I highly doubt you have ever been to Georgia.
It is beautiful. I love Atlanta.
Savannah ties with Charleston as one of the most beautiful cities in the country. The Atlantic Coast is awesome. Okefenokee Swamp is amazing. Stone Mountain is a great place to go. It is the NEW south. You won't find people running around with overalls on. People are the same as everyone else in the country, except for the Ya'll part. lol
I think people underestimate the south.

I personally hate everything about Georgia. I hate Rome "Crack City", I hate Atlanta, I hate Valdosta, I hate the Georgia Sattelites. I hate The Black Crowes. I hate REM. I hate Stone Mountain. I hate Jimmy Carter. If we killed everyone in Georgia, I think we'd put all the terrorists out of business.

Because it is one of the top 10 States as far as the cheapest property value is concerned. I was born AND raised in Georgia myself and personally, I LOVE Georgia, but the only things I hate about my own State are the thick AND intense racism, the Southern drawl (ESPECIALLY amongst us Black people), and how hot it gets here in the summer!

The small towns. People tend to have more time to answer outsiders Questions. We were taught at an Early age to say Yes Mame or Sir.and we have Sweet Iced Tea Year around. Its an Honorable State filled with Many Good People. Hope you Enjoy Georgia.

Just one famous old jazz tune, and everyone loves georgia eh? I wish it were that easy.
Georgia has good peaches, but so does many other states, the weather is nice, but the cold here sucks. Atlanta is the NYC of the south, but the rest of georgia with the exception of savanah ( a great artsy drugy collage town), georgia is small town wal-mart driven nothingness.

Where to begin? The weather, the people, the food...what's not to like about Georgia? I moved from GA to the United Kingdom and miss it so much. I can't wait to get back home in a few weeks. And for all the people who have negative stuff to say about it...STAY OUT OF MY STATE!! We don't want your sour attitudes and poor manners. The only drawback to Georgia is all the Yankees who have moved there. Georgia has everything you could want...mountains, beaches, lakes, culture, history...you name it, Georgia has it.

livin in Georgia is not not only cheap.... it is popular & famous for its majority production of peanuts... as far as i've heard people like georgia 4 the peanuts which r cultivated....& obviously 'cause of the peanut butter .besides,it is a perfect place to travel & its scenario is attractive enough 2 grab one's attention........

I'm going to step out on a limb and guess that you haven't been traveling the country asking people how they feel about Georgia. In New England, we like to forget that the south is the same country as us.

Obviously you have not been to ga. i lived there for 4 yrs with the army,and let me tell you, there is so many thing to do and learn in that state that itll blow your mind.

Cause Georgia is a great city but most people think its great just cause they see this person in tv representing georgia when they know it aint all that.

Because she has a short skirt and long legs. But that is exactly the reason why people don't like George much even though he has long logs, he just looks too odd in a short skirt.

I am born and raised in georgia 44 years. From middle Ga you can be on the beach in about 4 hours you can be in the mountains in the same or less time. Yea it gets pretty warm here in the summer but that is why they make AC. The winter is very mild, most of the time I don't put on much more than a wind breaker and short sleeves to stay warm. If you don't like the weather here just wait a few days it will change. The GRITS here are the best you can either look at that as the food group or as the Girls Raised In The South. Last of all if you come here and don't like it please just leave we really don't want to hear all about how you hate it here.
