It's hot there this time of year, but i love Texas. Something there for everybody! South Padre Island is one of my favorite places. Beautiful San Antonio, Exciting Dallas...Small towns, Big cities, Beaches, dessert, cowboys, city slickers!!!

I think Dallas sucks BIG TIME!!! I have lived here for 13 yrs..And if I could I would leave in a heartbeat..First of all the highways are a absolute mess during rush hours..it can take me over 2 hrs to get home nightly... As well as Dallas only has 2 types of food Mexican and BBQ..NO DIVERSITY at all... ALso NO GOOD pizza anywhere in Dallas... People in Dallas think that Dominos or Pizza Hut are it... As well as there is NOTHING to do in Dallas...Once you go the West End thats it... Im so tired of this city..

I AGREE 100PERCENT.i lived in Dallas for 10 years and hated every minute of it.i was robbed stole from and basicly ripped off.i was next door when my friends were robbed and beated at gun point.i had my purse stole walking out of a store.i had my tags and stereo ripped out of my car.i hated it so bad i had a nervous break down.it was so hot my eyes felt like they were melting.but i do havwe to say that the little country towns were ok.its just the people in them werent that friendly.i use to live in a little town named TOOL and i would walk out side and say hi to the neighbors and they would trun their heads and never speak.i am so glad i left their a long time ago.i prefer to live in the other T state.

Don't quite understand the question, but Texas is very diverse; we have rolling hills and meadows, forests, beaches and coastline, hill country, deserts with mountains, and plains. Texas is like it's own country.

Texas itself isn't so bad. It's the people who live here. There are too many extreme conservatives and fanatic religious people which is why I don't like it. I could tolerate the boring topography if it were not for those. And yes I have nothing against conservatives and religious people, in Texas it is just overdone.

The cities in Texas also do not stack up to cities outside of Texas. The 2 best cities in Texas are Austin and San Antonio which are its only redeeming qualities.

To those who hate Dallas, try living in Houston, which is more boring.

Mainly because of people's attitudes. I have seen most of the US and there are that are much more beautiful than Texas, but people here refuse to acknowledge that.
It gets miserably hot here, but the winters are mild. People here want to act like its not hot unless it is over 100, still they scramble for air conditioning when the temps get in the upper 80's.
If the people were not brain washed this place would not be so bad.
