Yes, you will get a tan in Florida. The sun is quite strong here and even with sunscreen use you will get some color. In fact, you need to be more concerned about whether or not you will get a sunburn. Make sure you take appropriate precautions against sunburn. They can ruin your trip. Have fun!

The only thing stopping you from getting a tan in Florida would be a bad sunburn. Don't try to get the tan all in the first week! Use sunblock and start out at no more than an hour a day.

what? LoL not the right type of sunshine? Look, sunrays, are sunrays. They can all burn you, tan you, and cause skin cancer if you're not protected. I grew up in FL and I don't know who told you its some sort of weird sunshine, but thats ridiculous and completely untrue.

Wear uva/uvb waterproof sunscreen for safety - but uh yeah, the sun here is just fine - you can get a tan.

Well, i went there in September last year, and although the sun wasn't out every day i still managed to get third degree burns on my legs, and that was mainly through sitting in the garden having breakfast and lunch etc, the sun rays in Florida are lethal, even when it's not out, so don't go out un- protected, even on dull days, because it will get you.

My friends just came back from Florida-Sunday just passed and she got a really good tan. She said it was scorching!! So don't worry you'll definitely get one. Be careful though, even if its not that warm, you still need to wear suntan lotion - even up here in Scotland you can get burned!!

well when i was in florida i got really bad sun burn but then it started to fade and became a lovely tan so u probably will get a tan
it also depends when u go and what type of sun it is
i went for 2 weeks lived by eating rolos lol and got really really burnt :)

don't no but i'd say you will because i even get a small tan in ireland so i cant see why you wouldn't when you are going to a place much much hotter than here in ireland!!

Yes Global warming is in high concentrations this time of year there so you will get a good tan if you are outside.

yeah, you should get a tan. my broother went to florida fer 2weeks and he came back with a goooooood tan. but now he moved to florida becos he fell in love there. haha. but yes is you stay in the sun.
