My opinion.
The most kid oriented is magic, followed by animal, epcot, and studio. In that order. |

With those ages I would say your two best bets are Magic Kingdom and animal Kingdom. Magic Kingdom is totally Disney and lots of fun. Animal Kingdom I find to be more laid back and kids enjoy all the animals.
That said, our twins (who were 1 the first time we took them and 3 1/2 the second time) enjoyed all four parks as did your eight year old niece. |

The Magic Kingdom without a doubt, but don't discount the other parks. There is something to do for everyone at each park. You and your kids will most definitely spend the most time in the Magic Kingdom, but I would definitely check out the others if you have time.
If you want some good info on the parks and attractions check out the disboards. The disboards is a message boards type website that is all about going to Disney. There is a ton of info on the site. You can ask questions and get advice, get tips on crowds, resort reviews, restaurant reviews and much more. I put the link below.
Hope this helps, have a great trip and congratulations! |

Magic Kingdom is the biggest park and has the most rides for kids. However, Animal Kingdom is great for kids, too. There is a great show - The Festival of the Lion King - that kids will love!!! |

The Magic Kingdom is definitly the best for little kids, no question about that at all..... They have the most "kid-friendly rides", and I could almost guarentee that they would have the time of their lives their. Its a lot of fun, and people of all ages would have a blast their, especially little kids. Have Fun! |

Magic Kingdom
The MAGIC KINGDOM, which covers 107 acres, opened on October 1, 1971. It's been dubbed "The Most Magical Place on Earth!" and is home to seven themed lands, and dozens of attractions that appeal to all ages.
The Magic Kingdom is laid out like a wheel, with the hub centered directly in front of towering Cinderella Castle.

Gah! Just be careful not to leave the children unattended. My father left me unattended once and the security guards chained me to the "It's a small world" attraction, to sing alongside other slave children, with the threat of being forced to star in a Christmas movie with Tim Allen if I didn't.
*shudder*
Needless to say, I sang like a bird. |
