I am thinking the more metropolitan area of Atlanta would suit me better than the Des Moines. |

Atlanta, Iowa sound like it would be a boring place to live. I've heard Atlanta is a really cool fun place to live. |

I Live in Des Moines Iowa and I like it here, Atlanta is a good place to live too But with last Summer and Fall Drought, and a Tornado that hit Downtown Atlanta Last Week, I don't think I would be Safe there as I would in Iowa. |

GA! Totally. I mean, there is so much diveristy in GA. You can live rural, and live down by Savannah, or up north in the urban areas in the ATL. :) Iowa is also too cold. GA has good, sturdy seasons. |

Iowa. Mostly because I already live in Des Moines and have most of my life.
I've been to Atlanta. It was too big for me. The traffic is atrocious. You can get anywhere in Des Moines in less than 20 minutes. I also think Des Moines is cleaner. And being a minority, I like Iowa better. I experienced some racism while I was just south of Atlanta. No thanks. :(
I know a lot of people think Iowa is boring, but there is a lot to do here. It just doesn't jump out at you. You have to look for it. |

it depends on what your looking for where you live
Atlanta tends to be warmer than Des Moines and Cedar rapids
Atlanta also has a higher population but far more traffic even Des monies and cedar rapids being the two largest cities in Iowa are not that bad traffic wise.....
housing costs less in Iowa usually not always Iowa has a great public school system I'm not sure how Georgia's is
it also depends on what you want to do for work.....
i am from iowa.... about 18 minutes south of Cedar Rapids ...Iowa City its a university town its also pretty great..... but Cedar Rapids and Des Moines have more stuff and people.....
and i've never been on a farm |
