definatly California, we have the governator, Hollywood, Malibu, San Francisco, all the porn stars live in Chatsworth, Rodeo drive, USC, and the list just goes on into eternity.....................
California is the worlds fifth largest economy, should California ever break off from the union the state itself would literally be the fifth most powerful nation on earth. You and your friend don't have to argue about which is better.....as the most populous state in the union 40million have already decided that California, not Florida is where they want to call home.

I rather live in southern California, the worst thing that California has is earthquakes. Flordia has earthquakes, tornados, and fluds. |

I believe California would better. Considering the weather, it's in the middle so it can go either way. And it's not like there aren't any beaches in Cali too. |

It is better to deal with earthquakes then it is with hurricanes.
A lot of the buildings in California are constructed to withstand a high earthquake anyways. |

Both places and most urban areas throughout USA are all GREAT!
Where one chooses to live is actually determined by their job and Employer bec in order to live and function requires cash flow and salary "coming in" to meet outgoing expenses and basic needs!
Hopefully that residential location is near family and friends... |

california is has better weather. it is way too humid in florida, but i guess it depends on what you like. There is more than one climate in California. You can live an hour from the beach and an hour from the mountains. Also there aren't alligators in California. |

see i gotta say fl. its more laid back. hurricanes generally just sum rain and wind if u prepare nothing to worry about, cant see a earthquake coming like u can a hurricane. u got usc out there in cali sure but we got the gators fsu and the U of Miami. oh and anyone heard of this lil place called south beach. stars my live in Hollywood bout they party in fl. oh and can watch the sun rise on the beach and set on the beach all in same day, now that's romantic. |

Florida! Definitely , the beaches are way prettier , the weather is much nicer.
But it really depends on what you like. I don't like people who are generally made of plastic, which I think you would tend to get more in Cali and maybe Miami, but I've lived in Florida and people are pretty much real there with the exception of Miami.... Not to mention Florida is southern, I prefer Southern Comfort food over the west coast "health" food. Not to say I don't like some of it, but for the most part I'm more into mashed potatoes and gravy instead of soy.
The lifestyles are totally different. I hope I never have to live in Cali.
Less shark attacks too. (FL)
Oh and I think it's cheaper to live in Florida. You also don't pay state taxes there. |
