Theres something very real about the newyorkers and all the latin folks in miami.
Not as spread out as la and people are much much nicer in Miami.
Also, from Miami you can go anywhere like the islands or cruises or cheap flights to latin america or europe.
Where are you going to fly from la, Hawaii??
Bars and nightclubs are open to 5am, in L.A last call is 130.
The women are not as fake in miami compared to L.A

I have lived in Los Angeles and visited Miami many times.
I would still take Los Angeles.
Florida is extremly humid in the summer, lots of bugs too. Crime in both places is probably the same.
The tidal basins of Miami can be flooded at any time. The storms can take out that city when they want. Storms are more frequent than earthquakes of Los Angeles.
You can still go to the Beach in Los Angeles.
The retiree's of Florida make it very dangerous to drive there.
Dangerous in LA too but probably in a different way.
Culture available in LA. You can hop on a flight to Miami anytime.
You are speaking of 2 different cultures. Both cities are multicultural but in a different way. Cuban influence is strong in MIami, While Hispanic is in LA is has not been as strong but is growing.
