No comparison... Vegas all the way. Like Pringles potato chips, once you pop, you can't stop- going there. Las Vegas is truly the city that never sleeps! |

Well, since I've spent 32 out of the last 33 birthdays in NY, I like Vegas MUCH better! I feel much more at home in Vegas, even though I bleed pinstripes. Everyone says NY is the "city that never sleeps." LIE! LIE! LIE! They kick you out of the bars between 2 and 4 am to close down. Vegas doesn't. |

I would says depends on wat age you are or state of mind. If you like 20s30s40s than Vegas by far. If you like 50s60s than maybe you want a more educational vacation. Vegas is jus a party clubbing, shows, gambling. NY well that speaks for itself. |

vegas because you can do a lot more things in vegas than new york (gamble and stay at fancy hotel) |

Vegas only because I have a nephew who lives there. I've been there several times, and I don't like the city much. If not for my nephew, I'd say New York. I've never really been there, just drove through on my way to somewhere else. It would be interesting to go there to see what it's like. |

Vegas for sure. NY is old and interesting but what do you plan to do for your bday? For excitement, you can't beat Vegas. It is made for parties. You can walk down the strip with a drink from a bar or casino and it is legal. So many free things to do and if you want a Show ... you can see it in Vegas and for a lot cheaper. NY has more history and it pretty much is the same as it has always been. Vegas is always changing and is different each time you visit.
Hey ... "your Vegas is showing" .... new motto. |

Because I live in Vegas I wouldl spend my birthday in NY because I have never been there. But if I lived elsewhere I would chose Vegas with all the entertainment including a Broadway play or two and 5 Cirque de Soilei shows, great weather, great dining, people watching, gaming, etc. Besides I believe NY is way more expensive. |

Since I have visited Las Vegas numerous times over the last 25 years, I'm going to say NY - I've never been there and would love to go check it out. |

In NY, I think Vegas is kitschy,
NY is real and classy but who knows if i will ever be there... |

It depends on what you like to do.
Shopping, sight seeing, real shows, and especially food = NYC.
Gambling, cheesy shows, partying = Vegas. |
