Would you stay at the MGM Grand or Treasure Island?

Treasure Island or The Venetian. MGM Grand is not even the original building, just those creepy wax figure and boring looking place. THe Venetian is where I am staying next time no doubt about it.

Treasure Island has the reputation for the "Best Buffet" in Las Vegas.

My husband and I have stayed at both places several times and love both of them. We were married at Treasure Island in Oct 1996.

My preference is probably MGM because I love the southern end of the strip.

Either place would be fine and I don't think you will be disappointed if you choose one over the other.

Treasure Island hands down! I've stayed at both, most recently T.I. as they're referring to it now. Great restaurants, great clubs, the rooms are beautiful - ask for one over looking The Sirens of T.I. show, we had fireworks exploding by our window absolutely amazing! It's near Fashion Mall, great place to shop. Connected to The Mirage by the tram. Very friendly staff and not as big as MGM (I got lost there too many times to count) Have a great time!

I would definitely stay at the MGM Grand, unless I had children...then I would stay at Treasure Island. If you can afford it, I most recommend the Venetian...it's amazing!

Either one. I have friends who have stayed at both and had high praises for both. I've not personally stayed in either. I would probably go for MGM because I love the Wizard of Oz and would want to be closer to seeing all the stuff there about that.

Treasure Island...I work for a travel agency and i've run into nicer people whenever I call their hotel for information. I also suggest either the Venetian or the Luxor. Have fun! Oh, the Stardust hotel is closing on November 1st just to let you know. Pretty sad! =(

Depends on the deal I could get. Treasure Island is really nice, but parts of MGM have been remodeled and are supposed to be very nice, too. MGM is really, really big and Treasure Island is smaller. They are kind of on opposite ends of the strip, so it depends on whether you want to be close to Wynn, Venetian, Mirage, Caesars, etc. (Treasure Island) or if you want to be close to New York New York, Monte Carlo, Luxor, Mandalay Bay and Excalibur (MGM).

Both of these are 5 stars hotels/casinos, so anyone is fine. However, I would choose Treasure Island because it's in the middle of the strip.

My family loved the Flamingo last year. They also liked Treasure Island and a few other places that I can't recall at the moment.

if u can afford it stay at MGM altho TREASURE ISLAND is a pretty place too ... the really GREAt thing abt TI is the fact that its somewhat in the middle of the strip so u can access other casinos easier by walkin whereas the MGM is more to one side of the strip .... have fun =0)

I've stayed in the MGM Grand before, and I liked it alot, but the Treasure Island is more centrally located on the Strip. The MGM Grand is right a the beginning, so that means alot of walking.
