IMO that would be preferable than walking around in the 90 degree heat like I usually end up doing while we are down there. Waiting in lines would be a little more bearable. Just pack a change of clothes from whatever you wear and store it in a locker in case. |

68 degrees is not cold at all, that's only barely below room temperature. Even 55 degrees should be absolutely no problem at all. |

I took my kids at the end of October, it was around that temperature range. It was a great trip. We didn't get all hot and sweaty in line, and the crowds were much smaller. |

Sure, that's fine. I wouldn't go on any rides that require getting wet though.
As cold as it is in most of the country now, most people would love to have such an opportunity. |

of course i would walk around disney world in that kind of weather.
68 isn't cold. (especially in the orlando sun)
i think you are going a bit over board with the clothes. most people will be wearing shorts and t-shirts in that weather. if you want to have them wear jeans i don't think that temp would be too hot though but they don't need a longsleeve shirt and a sweat shirt. just have them wear t-shirts and bring a sweat shirt.
"nicole67" LOL i hear ya i live in lockport. |

You need pants, a long sleeve shirt, and a sweatshirt for 72 degrees?? You would not even need all that for 55..the only one needed a long sleeve shirt is maybe the youngest for the morning time. |

Should be a great day. Be sure to bring plenty of snacks and beverages. Concessions at Disney cost an arm and a leg.
If your pocketbook can stand it stay at the Grand Floridian and eat at the theme/character restaurant. You'll have a great time.

68 degrees is too cold??? Sorry I am from the north and it was 7 below zero without the wind chill factor.
My kids and I would throw on a jacket and be off to the rides at 68 |

68 is perfect!!! Your bodies will run warmer from walking and the sun will be warm (and actually bareable). That sounds quite perfect, actually. |

where the heck are you from? 68 degrees too cold???? im in new york , its about 20 outside right now. honestly with a sweatshirt you should be fine. and yes i would take my kids to disney in that weather, its warm, how sheltered are your damn children that you only consider taking them outside when its 70 and up. do they live in bubbles? kids play in the snow in freezing temperatures for hours. worry about rain, 68 degrees is nice. |

Perfect weather, after all, a lot of that time will be spent indoors in the shows/attractions. Take a jacket and hat in case they are cool, but I would take that weather with kids to the July/August heat anytime.
Keep in mind, each park would take a minimum of one day to see, more to really do it all. |

That sounds like an almost perfect temperature to me. Granted, I'm from upstate New York, so anything above 30 sounds nice right now.
I would have the kids wear jeans and bring sweatshirts. Maybe they could be stuffed in a stroller when it got too hot. Let them choose between a long-sleeved shirt and a short-sleeved shirt, but remind them that if they get too cold, it's their fault. |

I think you'll love those temps! You will probably have the sun shining on you most of the time, so it will seem even warmer. Layers will be good, so you can take things off as it gets warmer. Take something to put it all in. I'd rent a stroller while there so you can use that for the storage. Have fun- it will be a blast! |

Absolutely! 68 is perfect weather, not too hot and not too cold. It may be too cool for water rides like Splash Mountain, but if you do decide to go on them, do them early in the day when it's warmer.
Jeans, a short sleeve shirt, and a sweatshirt for when it cools down later is exactly what you'll need.
Have fun! |

I would definitely go, its Disney and you will be on the go so much that the kids probably wouldn't mind at all. Plus it wont be as tiring as it would in the summer and the crowds will be much lighter. Just make sure you dress accordingly and I would maybe pass on splash mountain.
Have fun! Im sure you will have a great time! |

Where are you from?
I live in the north, so 68 degrees is practically summertime!
Although, I did visit Florida in December, and was chilly (I wasn't nearly as prepared as you though-i thought I could get by with shorts).
I would absolutely go to Disney in that weather. Cooler weather means usually fewer crowds, and an easier time at Disney with kids. The weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas are the least popular in the year, and they are decorated with Christmas trees and the like. I would recommend going at that time. It will be cooler, but dress smart, and you should enjoy your time.
It is easier to wear lots of clothes (like you're proposing) and get a locker if you need it. $5 to share a locker is a lot cheaper than buying everyone a sweatshirt because they're freezing (or wasting an entrance ticket because of complaining). |

Disney World tends to be a bit warmer than the temperature around the parks because it is mostly concrete. (About 1 or 2 degrees warmer). It would be fine, as long as you wear a jacket and longer pants, like jeans. When it reaches its, highest temperature, it will feel a lot warmer if there's no wind. The one thing I would worry about is the wind, and the kids saying they're cold. Just bring a medium to heavy weight jacket for the mornings, and a hoodie or heavy sweater for the afternoon. I wouldn't recommend riding any water rides, either, because then you will feel colder than it really is. Hope you have fun! |

Sounds perfect to me. If you don't go, can I have your tickets? |
