No not really. Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) is your best approximation of a Bangkok like scene. The political regime in Nam is far less tolerant than Thailand. There are backpacker cafe's etc all over the place, but not concentrated in one area. Accommodation everywhere is very cheap and generally very good standard. |
