It's very diffirent now. An airfare will cost from $1 to $100/way for Saigon-Hanoi.
The cheapest one is from Pacific Airlines with $1/way (but very limited and you will never have change to buy). Normally, you can buy the ticket of Pacific at $40/way while Vietnam Airlines is from 60/way
