Am travelling to vietnam may/june need to know the weather at that time of the year/&cloths to pack thanks?

it will be hot most of the time. you can wear shorts and t shirts in tourests areas, but if you plan on spending time in the countryside or at the homes of vietnamese ALWAYS wear long pants and a proper shirt... it is their etiquete. the weather can get cool in the mts, da lat, sapa. clothing can be picked up at any market in viet nam also rain ponchos will be sold all over the street if it looks like rain, they are cheap and compact, pick one up.

the weather will be HOT and rainy during the time you will be there. Make sure to pack an umbrella,clothes fit for hot and sunny days,clothes for hot but rainy days,and clothes fit for semi chilly nights.When you get there,buy the mosquito cream in VIETNAM,because from my experiences,the mosquito cream there works MUCH better than the ones from the US.You can buy clothes in Vietnam too because it is very cheap to buy it there compared to the US.

i'm going as well and going to take very little a couple of pairs of shorts and a few t-shirts. Last time i went i was so annoyed because packed loads of stuff - didnt wear half of it and its so cheap to buy clothes out their that this time i'm just gonna pack light and buy everything out there

Vietnam is hot, I should know, I'm Vietnamese. Bring mostly short sleeved shirts and shorts. Sometimes it rains, so bring maybe a light jacket. Can't forget bathing suit ;]

Lucky you. I believe it is always warm. Maybe rainy. So pack light. You can always buy clothes there.

GO TO A WEATHER WEBSTIE AND CHECK OUT THE WEATHER AND THEN IF YOU CANT GET THE WEATHER THEN PACK WARM AND COOL CLOTHES JUST TO BE SAFE

It is mostly hot at that time of the year, so bring tanks and shorts,and some short sleeve too, sometime it get chilly at night. You don't even have to bring a light rain jacket or anything, it's just gonna take up space in your suit case. They sell those stuff every where in Vietnam. Bring you bathing/swimming suit though, you might wanna visit some water park there. By the way, bring like 2 or 3 bottle of mosquitoes sprays. Depends on which part of the country ur visiting, but in the city, 2 is good enough for at least 3 weeks.
