HaNoi is an exciting beautiful city. Depends on how long you will be there for a good list of sites to see. HaLong Bay for at least a day trip. Purple Pagoda day trip for the beauty of the mountains and peaceful boat ride. Red River Cruise and so much more. As for night light Bia Hoi Drinking is probably your best bet. That is all over town and cheap.
