Anyone know if there is a squash court in Ho Chi Minh City? |
I live in HCM City from Dec. - Feb. last year. Although I know quite a few local but non of them understand what kind of sport - Squash, is! I will be there again for two months, can anyone give me some information or even tell me if there is a Vietnamese word for - Squash, thank you. |

I just asked my family in Saigon about squash courts. They had no idea what squash is other than being a vegetable that they cook along with some fish and eat with rice. I described what a squash court would look like, and they were surprised to realize that there could be one not far from my house in Saigon.
My house is in District 7, not far from the new foreigner/expat village. In the expat village are several recreation facilities, and one of them has racket ball courts, tennis courts, etc. That facility is about a block from the Pizza Hat (a pizza restaurant that is a copy of a Pizza Hut). Ask someone there where the Pizza Hat or the tennis courts are.
