This white-bear like animal is found only in southwestern China and eastern Tibet.
In a place called Wolong in Sichuan.Wolong is a panda reservation.Wolong is a vast botanical garden with deciduos and coniferous forests stretching across valleys and mountains.
Pandas are found in mountainous regions, such as Sichuan, Gansu, Shaanxi and Tibet. They are not commonly found and are now a rare sight in their native land. The Giant Panda is an endangered species. According to the latest report there are a total of 239 pandas in captivity, 128 in Wolong, a further 67 in Chengdu and 27 who live out of the country. It is estimated that there are about 1,590 pandas still living in the world. A study in 2006 using DNA analysis estimated the number of wild pandas to be more in the region of 2,000 to 3,000 and although reports show number may be rising, the World Conservation Union (IUCN) does not believe it is enough to remove pandas from the endangered animal list. |

No, China and Japan are the only countries that have Pandas. But generally, Japan got their pandas from China a long time ago. However, China has the most , while Japan's Panda population is very limited. |
