Maybe because the Philippine government thinks that it is not yet advisable for Filipinos to go over there. I mean, they cannot compromise the safety of its people right? Time will come that the ban will be lifted, just wait.
Isa pa kase, wala pa naman talagang all-clear signal diyan sa Afghanistan di ba? 'Lam mo naman dito sa 'Pinas... pero mas mabuti nga yung better safe than sorry, di ba?

I agree with maej.. you just have to wait. I know it's not only Afghanistan but also Iran and Iraq and also some other parts of Middle East.
Though in Kandahar is pretty safe but not entire Afghanistan is same, right? Well, it's better that they BAN it.
Even i am here in United States but every now and then i always hear killing, bombing.. etc.. etc.. nakakasawa at nakakaawa ang mga tao jan.
As far as know Riyadh will stop sending gasoline to United Sates and i don't know some other countries. Riyadh is second producer of gasoline in all over the world.
One thing we can do is just to pray.. Prayer is more powerful than anything else!
