sure u can, but when u arrive vietnam airport, pay extra money to the one check u out! ( last time my dad brought 2 laptops to VN, he gave a guy $20.00) . . they will not trouble you!

yes you can, and you DO NOT AND SHOULD NOT pay off anybody at the airport that is a thing of the past , i dont know why viet kieu continue to do this.. you will have no problem what soever

I brought in two laptops at least once. I had many trips in and out of VN and never had any problems.

I did that before but my case was different: I'm Vietnamese and came back home that time. In general, I believe if that's for your personal use, that should be ok.

Yes you can.
I brought 3 last time in August 2008 with out any hassle or problem.
My tips for you. Carried one with you, 2 other, put one in each huge lug gages along with your clothes, but don't put it in a sealed box.
The scan machine at the arrival in Vietnam is just a fake to me when arrive.
But going back to the US, it is a real scan machine.
