While you're at it, think about what happened to a bunch of Australians a few months ago. They got popped for drugs and are FACING EXECUTION right now. The Australian embassy is trying to get them released but it's not looking too good, because they broke a law in Vietnam.
Oh... I should mention that Vietnam has among of the toughest drug laws in the world (those War movies you seen were depicting an era over 30 years ago). There's no sitting in jail overnight and a slap on a wrist if you get caught dealing or buying. You will more likely do very hard time in a communist prison, which will make jail in the U.S. feel like staying at a Holiday Inn, and/or be executed without trial.
