Can anyone recommend a good tailer in Vietnam please?
Hi there, I'm off to Vietnam this time next week for 2 weeks and need to get a dress or two made for a couple of weddings I have coming up, also my partner needs a suit made. Can you recommend any good tailers?

Hoi An is tailor town in Vietnam. As soon as you get off the bus you will be approached by at least a dozen you girls (not those girls!) who speak excellent english and will try to get you to visit their shops. In the shops they have catalogs showing lots of different styles they can do as well as pictures of mens & womens outfits they have made for previous customers. There is also a post office in the town so that you can ship your purchases home rather than carrying them back. Try Thong Phi Tailors, we got 2 piece suits for 25 dollars each, but that was at least 3 years ago, and there were 6 guys so we haggled them down on the basis that we were giving them alot of business by buying alot from them. Also the quality was fine, my only regret is that I should have gotten them in a bigger size cos I've gotten fatter since!

I know of 1 tailor in Hanoi that has done a good job for me in the past, but I also know that most people that come to Vietnam get their tailoring in Nha Trang and or Hoi An.
