It cost me about $6.00 US dollars (i forgot the conversion) 2 months ago. But BE CAREFUL!! I paid for a taxi service at the airport so it was a set rate, we thought this would be the best way to get where we wanted. But our taxi driver told us our hotel was no longer there due to construction and he refused to show us, instead he dropped us off at his friends hotel. We decided to look for ourselves and the hotel we wanted was still there and it was exactly what we wanted. I know this doesn't happen all the time and that most people are very helpful to travelers, but just be careful.

It would cost you approximately 70000-90000 dong. That ranges from $5.00 to $6.00 USD. Most taxis have a starting price of 12000 dong, but some may be a little bit more expensive.

Depending on where you are going and provided you use a metered taxi it should be anywhere between VND 60,000 and 100,000
But perhaps you prefer to use one of the taxis where you buy a ticket at a counter inside the arrival hall. No idea what they charge.
You get VND from ATMs inside the arrival hall.

you should be able to negotiate down to 50,000vn from the airport to de tham street [ the back pack area], and vise versa.. just ask a cpl of cab drivers in advance ...
