It didn't help Vietnam in anyway. The result was 3 million Vietnamese people died for nothing and the rest who survived, either died on the pacific ocean or ended up somewhere else.
People were scared by the communist and used Vietnam as a scapegoat just like we're afraid of the terrorists so we went to Iraq and killed the Iraqis. Same deal. |

I think you are asking about the war,which here is known as the American war.My history is not good but south Vietnam asked for help against the north,the north being comunist and backed by the Rusians the USA where glad to help,you have to remember at the time America was very frightend of comunisem. |

What can you do to help Vietnamese? When you visit VN, you help the tourists grow. This happens to all countries. Vietnamese don't have anything for you, but they are very friendly. They are always smile and welcome you when you come to visit VN. |
