Difference between online package price for Ha Long Bay 2D1N with hanoi street price?
Will it be expensive if i take the USD120 for 2 Days 1 night trip with O/N on cruise? I am a solo traveller. Will it be cheaper if i get it from Hanoi after i reached there? Any recommendation?
If you pay 120USD you are going to get a good trip that you will be happy with and have no complaints. If you shop around the streets and find a tour for 30USD you can guarantee that you are not going to be happy.
Halong Bay is a once in a lifetime opportunity so don't let a cheap tour ruin it. The suggestions above are for backpacker budget tours.
If I was going to spend over 100USD, I would be going for Emeraude Cruises, the boats out of Handspan tours or a package from Ocean Tours.

if you do the tour for2 days and 1 night, event on cruise or junk, still expensive you know, with 100$ you can do the VIP tour already, you will be on Imperial junk boat with kayak with private room ( deluxe room)
Of courst if you want to do the other VIP , that's meaning more good quality, you have to pay 170$ not above 120$ like you said.

I went to Ha Long Bay with my friend last February. I think I only paid $58 per person for 2 days and 1 night and 4 meals included. We slept in the junk.
