I agree with the above answer, I have spent many a night at the Seventeen Saloon, across from the river next to the Renaissance Hotel, great band there, always crowded, a real fun place. The (in)famous Apocolypse Now is a popular disco, doesn't get going until pretty late, weekends are best there. Saigon Saigon is a fun bar, located on a rooftop of the Caravelle Hotel, good views and good music, too. Allez Boo is also very popular for the backpacking crowd. There are lots of places all over in District 1, HCMC has a great nightlife scene, you won't have any problem having fun. |
