You can say Ho Chi Minh was the one who was responsible for Vietnam became a communist country. He had lived in almost every influential countries from the US, England, France, Soviet Union, and China, When living France he embraced communism despite the fact that Vietnam was against French regime for trying colonized our country. He also had support from the Soviet Union as well as China to fight against the French.

I do not like communism and that's why I live in the US, but I have to say I admire the man. He fought for what he believed and never gave up. He lived a modest life and set great example. That's why his people trusted him and willing to die not just for the country but for him as well.

No, I don't support the commie. I'm just a patriotic just like any Vietnamese in case anyone wondering.

He was a noob. Hoping for independence my ***. He and his communists have corrupted VIetnam, drained South Vietnam and brainwashed the people. And if you want to overthrow them...bribe them or use torture. The regime caused nearly 2-3 million Vietnamese into exodus. Many boat people were turned back and/or killed. Today, the overseas Vietnamese community remains ardently anti-communist SO DON'T ACT OR HOLD ANY COMMUNIST PROPAGANDA around please. Not good for your health. North Vietnam just like North Korea. South Korea just like South Vietnam. Only the south Viets weren't so lucky. Look at South Korea now; 9th largest economy worldwide. If South Vietnam (The Republic of Vietnam) was still in existance, chances are they would be thriving moreso than these ratbags. Corrupt and thirsty for power and wealth. You want to know what the communists have done?"

Here's just some:

Sent men of the former RVN into "reeducation" camps supposedly. Torturing and killing at least 120,000 of them. Making them work or starve them.

Brainwashed the people into a communistic vitality.

Exodised 2-3 million Viets.

Persecuted religions and ethnic groups.

Corrupted and impoverished the nation as a whole

Labelled overseas Vietnamese as traitors and Americans as Imperialist pigs

Invaded South Vietnam in 1975 although they signed the 1972 Peace treaty stating that either side would fight on.
Thus, violating international law.

Warred unneededly with Cambodia and caused a war with China.

Sold land to China, and fed their own families.

Sold women to Korea, Taiwan etc. (Bet you didn't know this)

And worst of all:

THE COMMUNISTS HAVE BRANDED THE VIETNAMESE IMAGE AS VIOLENT, POOR, RATS.

That is why we must rid the world of them!

1. Get those filthy communists out of South Vietnam.
2. Kill their families!
3. Form a new Republic of Vietnam
4. Make Saigon the capital
5. Rename HCMC into Saigon

Sai Gon is the rightful name. Why the heck did they bloody rename it into an old filthy man's name!?! What a disgrace infact they want their people to feel proud in that name yet he remains a communist RATBAG and will forever BURN IN HELL. By the time my time has withdrawn from this God Green Earth, the communists must be gone! - Or I swear I will personally do something.

North Vietnam was supported by the Soviet Union and Communist China and under the leader Hochiminh that made North Vietnam become a communist

Right now there is no communist system in Vietnam. They don't call North Vietnam and South Vietnam anymore. Without Mr Ho, Vietnam would still be ruled by another country. You said only 4 countries in the world now are communist and they are poor. Hello are they the poorest in the world? Are Cambodia and Myanmar rich? Vietnam is developing very fast in South East Asia now.

to put it simple the US won't help them durin the war between Vietnam n France bc US was an ally to the French so Ho Chi Minh asked China to help so thats how it become communist in the first place......he never wanted to become communist but in order to be independent it happen...he wanted it to be a democracy country in the first place......he did ask the US to help but they didn't....so learn a little history ppl on y north vietnam become communist n u would understand who fault it is...another thin i beleive in my lifetime Vietnam would become a democracy country...n the last thin even though soviet union n china were communist but they dislike each other.....

north vietnam became a communist because of a traitor and disgrace man who follow the theory,blind rule of karl max,andn that traitor is hochiminh and i hated him to dead.why did they name him after my SAIGON CITY where i was born and grew up?north vietnam got support from russia and china nations,but look at russia now they are the roots of communist and they drop it,how come vietnam communist goverment still stubborn and keep believe in the communist theory?the only four country still stupid and believe in communist are china,vietnam,north korea,cuba and look at them all then,so poor and people suffer so long.so there is nothing good or admire about the man who betrayal the will of vietnamese people who want freedom,better life and happy!
