I think about Vietnam, a lot, whether I like it, or not. I fell in love with a Vietnamese girl, a while back, who lead me along and then she turned out to be a lesbian...and I'm not just saying that in the way that a guy will say that a girl is a lesbian because she wasn't interested in him. She is a lesbian. I'd like to visit Vietnam and other Asian nations in the future. I would like to view the architecture, relics, temples, as well as experience the cultures.

I went to Vietnam after having been to most of the Asian countries recently and I find it a very pleasant place to visit. Of course, as a regular traveller, you know beforehand what you want to see and get before you make the trip. Therefore when I decided to visit Vietnam, I was not looking forward to high rise buildings (though there are quite a fges too) or plush departmental stores etc. If you want those things then forget Vietname but go to say Hong Kong ro Singapore or Toyko. So lets me realistic. MY trip to Vietnam was both pleasant and surprising. I was not disappointed for I saw a lot of very basic and down to earth people workign their ways through life. Culturally it is also interesting and rich in history. Sure it was not heaven for I was cheated by a street vendor when I was asked to pay for a lot more for simple food but then there will always be bad eggs in any basket around the world. One final thing, the airport facilities are not good and if you make the trip for the first time, get there early for it can be quite tough getting through - but having said that it was my experience. Others might well have not difficulty. If you ask me whether I would visit again - sure I would as it is a large country wit plenty to see and ponder over. Remember it is only for those who can appreciate the people and the culture there. Back to you to make a decision.
