There are plenty of differences between Vietnam and other countries surrounding. Vietnamese people have a long tradition of respecting elderly, family oriented, education is number one priority, respect one another and kick *** if any countries want to mess with us. Vietnam also has a long history, suffered from so many wars but never deter us from keeping our identity. It's not easy to influence Vietnamese people. Remember Vietnam was in the war with Japanese, French, US, Chinese but Vietnamese people never forget where we came from. We have our own language. We never gave up and determine. Although we are a small country in South East Asia but we would fight to our last breath to be independent. Just look at Vietnam now, after years of suffering from invasion, we now standing up for ourselves and rebuild our country without any help from others. We're proud to be Vietnamese whether we're rich or poor, it doesn't matter. Our ancestors set example for us and teach us we'll never give up or never give in. That sets us apart from other Asian countries in the region.

Aj. I suggest that don't answer any questions if you don't know. Go back and learn our history before put your foot in your mouth.

That's why we love for being Vietnamese.

Who wants to know seems to sum up your question quite nice. I would add that Vietnam is the friendliest, has the best food and is the prettiest of all the asian countries that I have visited. We visit every summer for a month and will be going back again next summer and we can't wait. Cheers C
