The advice I give to people seeking a cheap flight to Saigon is to contact a Viet owned travel agency. Ask a Viet friend or acquaintence where they book their flights (and better yet, can they accompany you to the agent's office). I've been using the same agency for ten years and have never found a cheaper flight on-line. In addition, they will get your visa, find you a guide if needed and book any kind of in-country travel you might want.
I live in Boston and generally pay $1040 RTw/visa. You will pay much less.

Go to SmartFares. I found a British Airways deal there that only costs just over US$ 1000 round trip:

u should wait or postpone ur trip if u really need a cheap tickets. Currently a malaysia company air asia gonna start flying from kl-Uk around July. The price of the tickest gonna be mad. Starting price form RM9. 1pound = RM6.8

I found some pretty cheap flights going to www.asia.com
Cheapest flights by a couple hundred dollars compared to other sites like expedia and travelocity, but then again im from America, but give it a shot, doesnt hurt to look!
