I am interested in taking my family (little kids) to Nha Trang during the summer, but have been discouraged by many Vietnamese who have travelled to Vietnam during the summer. I understand it is ...
I'm planning a 4 week trip to the Far East in January (starting and finishing in Hong Kong).... is 7 nights enough to get a flavour of Vietnam?? Could anyone suggest an ...
I had also tried to make contact with her, but I was unsuccessful.
As Rillifane had mentioned, Madame Ngo lives in the French Riviera, and has lived there for decades. She charges for interview because it's claimed to be her only source of significant income, aside from a portion of her family's fortune that was smuggled out of Vietnam. She prefers to speak French even when she was in Vietnam. She also hates Americans with a passion, and don’t bother trying to contact her if you are an American.
If you are successful in contacting her, ask the following questions:
- What was her logic in thinking that Catholics, who were less than 8% of South Vietnam's population at the time, should control South Vietnam?
- How come she was selling property in Vietnam to the Chinese while the Chinese were supporting the NVA and Viet Cong?
- How much money did her family pilfer from South Vietnam, and when did her family know to start transferring their money out of Vietnam due to the inevitable demise of her husband and brother-in-law?
- How come she was conveniently out of the country when her husband and brother-in-law were assassinated?
- Does she have any idea that her and her family were the epitome of French colonization of Vietnam?
- What was the logic behind her thoughts in thinking that the Americans were manipulating Buddhist monks, when she had publicly expressed her hatred towards Buddhists?
- What does she think about her mom having sex with her husband?
You may as well get your money’s worth if you’re going to pay her for an interview.
