I don't like Vietnam. I LOVE Vietnam...
As Flightmedic pointed out, the people and the scenery are incredible. I believe the Vietnamese people are the friendliest people in the world. I'm a half-breed Vietnamese, and thought I would be treated terribly due to all the negative stories I had heard of what happened to my kind there. The exact opposite was the actual truth. I'm treated almost like a rock star when I wander the streets of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
The scenery is beyond words to accurately describe how beautiful the country is. However, I must point out some of the ugly things I had seen too. The bank of the Red River along Hanoi is one long wall of trash and debris that is intentionally being pushed into the river as their means of dealing with it. The same is being done with the Saigon River at HCMC. If there is only one thing I would wish for that country to do is to properly dispose of their waste instead of dumping it into their beautiful rivers.
Wait till Ong Jon gets a hold of this question. He'll go way further than I can in describing how much he likes Vietnam. |

Yes dear, I do.
Although I spent most of my life in South America I can tell you this is a fascinating country. Of course it does not have the comforts of first world countries but you will find friendly people, french colonial past, wonderful beaches plus delicious food. Prices for services are extremely affordable. |

Yes, Vietnam is an interesting country. Even though it's a "third world" country, Vietnam remains to be the only nation in the world to have defeated the United States, which is considered to be the most powerful nation in the world. That should be enough to impress anyone! Vietnamese history is quite interesting; especially French colonization, the Vietnamese fight for independence, and the Vietnam War. |

Vietnam might be a small crowded country, but it's filled with fascinating sights and friendly peoples. Foods are super yummy, and as my family says so, the foods in Vietnam are more fresh than the foods in America.
Yeah, it's a beautiful country, but it's not the best country. Vietnam,despite the size of it, are overpopulation. The air is dirty,filled with all kind of smokes. People would actually sell foods in the street. And Vietnam is filled with mosquitoes.
But with a little care, i believed that Vietnam will be more clean. |

VEITNAM, I am from veitnam, it is the best place ever to go, the wonderfull weather, even though it is very hot there conpared to here, and the animals there, and the sweet ocian, yes I am a boy, and I go there every summer!! the people there are woderfull, and I can speak veitnamese, I can look at the buetifull veiw and sketch ever sight |
