Does one visa to Vietnam allow for reentry if I head to Cambodia and back to Vietnam again? |
I'm planning a trip to Vietnam and Cambodia, but my entry point would be Ho Chi Minh City. Would my visa in Vietnam allow for re-entry if I were to visit Cambodia and Angkor? Thanks in advance for the help. |

Usually one time or first time visas in general are for one entry.. It should say on the visa if it is single or multiple entry but if you did not request multiple, more than likely they will give you single entry - look at your visa - it should say.. best of travels!! |

When you make the visa, better ask the person in charge. But as I know, you have to request for multiple entry visa, so that you can make sure no prob at all. Hope you enjoy the trip. Take care and be safe.

same as above, if you intend to make more than one entry to viet nam, make sure you apply for multiple exit re-entry permits to the consular office of viet nam authorities in your country. or, ask them the possibility of having visa on arrival for your nationality. |

My school just went to Vietnam and Cambodia in May. We did the same thing. SO I guess you will have to re-apply for the Vietnamese visa if you want to come back to Vietnam after that. |

If you look on your Visa, you will see a line that says "Mot lan" or "Nhieu lan", that means single-entry or multiple-entry. If you just applied for a standard tourist visa, it will probably say "Mot lan" or single-entry. Unfortunately that means you need to apply for another visa.
I would suggest that you call the Vietnamese Embassy in Washington and ask to speak to someone in the visa section. They are usually very helpful and should be able to tell you what you need to do to change your visa status.
But whatever you do, don't skip the temples of Angkor Wat -- they are extraordinary! Enjoy your trip. |
