Driving motorbikes in Vietnam?
My family and I will be driving motorbikes around the Hoi An (Da Nang) area for a few days in July. We have quite a big family, 12 or so, just interested to find out if my 15 year old son can drive a motorbike or not.
I have done it in Hoi Anh and Nha Trang where traffic was manageable. In Hoi Anh, if you approach one business regarding renting a bike, best stick with him or you may cause an argument amongst vender's with you stuck in the middle. The beach outside Hoi Anh is a nice ride. Never trust the fuel gauge.

he better be a very , VERY experienced rider, and you all best be real careful... before you get on bike learn the "flow"/ "rules and unofficial rules of the road" , learn how to walk and cross the streets of viet nam, maybe take a bicycle out first...... anyway hoi an is do small you can walk around it twice a day.. be nice to take a bike out into the countryside though...enjoi..

Yes. There is no legal age for driving motorbike in Vietnam...but u should be careful though, the traffic in Vietnam is a madness.
