I totally agree with all the other posters. Vn has soooo many great fruits. We grow those little, tiny bananas that are really sweet as well as coconuts, longans, etc, etc.
The one fruit I didn't see listed by the others was pineapple! Vietnam has the sweetest pineapples I have ever tasted. Pineapples in America taste good but usually give me heartburn an hour after I eat some. In Vietnam, I can eat them all day. I have even started collecting pineapple tops at the market to plant on our land. The women get a good laugh at my expense (they call me the poor American, ask me how they taste etc), but what the heck, We've got plenty of land and coconut trees only take up so much room. lol

In Can tho, Long An,... and some western of south of Vietnam, there are many big & large fruit garden, they call: "hick" . in there, there are many kind of trees, and go through hick by small boad in small river or go awark <very romantic>.
