Theres a lot of places to buy eye glasses in vietnam. The place I got mine from are in Saigon right across/ near pho 24. There were alot of brand names there, mostly Dolce and Gabana. I'm not quite sure they are 100% real or if they are knock offs but they work fine either way. Also, the glasses are really cheap like all together mine costs 60 bucks. If you really want to make sure they are 100% real then try dimond plaza or crystal palace. They have real high end ones, but they are more expensive (like the same as america). Good luck! =) Bottom line: There are lots of places just get in a taxi and drive around and I guarentee you will find a place within like 10 minutes if not less. Hope I helped!

Yeah, I did that when I was there. The one I went to didn't even use a Snellen chart. He just had me look inside a lense that I guess calculates my vision. Then I chose the glasses that I wanted and came back the next day to pick them up. Mine costed about 500,000 Dong, so it wasn't all that expensive and I didn't have any problems with it at all.

You can get glasses from many different upscale shops in Ha Noi - start looking along the street near The Opera - Tran Tien Plaze

Yes. Go to Diamond Plaza on Pham Ngoc Thach st. if you are going to stay in SaiGon. Still, I don't think you should buy brand name glasses in VN. They are crazily expensive, and there is no warranty for authentic stuffs. (They are probably Chinese stuffs)

Bring your own frames. Have your eye exam and fill your prescription there. It's supper cheap.

Yes, but try to buy at the airport or somewhere safe. They might show you some fake ones....so be careful on what you buy.
