You could try going to Tioman Island off the east coast of Malaysia. Any where in Malaysia is great. Are you backpacking? Ankor Wat in Cambodia is a site to behold. Don't go off on your own in the jungle areas for obvious reasons as there are unexploded munitions around. In Vietnam there are so many places to see it's impossible to recommend all of them. Ho Chi Min city is a good place to start and then make your way up the East coast stopping at places like Hue,Nha Trang,My Lai, Da Nang and Hanoi. You will have a fabulous time there so enjoy!! How long are going for?
Hope you enjoy spicey food, you will be spoilt for choice.
Good Luck and Safe Journeys.

I've been to Cambodia myself :D
you must go to Angkor Wat, its really pretty
kompong Som has many beautiful beaches with excellent people who speak english or you can take a boat out to one of the islands (not recommended if you can't swim ><)
Phnom Penh and check out the castle there, really not sure what its called...

In Malaysia, remember to visit Petronas Twin Towers and KL Tower. KLCC Suria is an ultra modern shopping centre that you should visit.

Genting Highlands is a good place to go for relaxation and enjoying the cool air. Sunway Lagoon Theme Park is great for fun and excitement as there are plenty of rides that you can take.

it depends on your interests.

cambodia:
siem reap is rich with ancient history. visit the wet market, art market, dinner with cultural performance, angkor wat and tonle sap.
phnom pehn holds more on the darker history of the country that will touch your heart. go to a few bars in town and watch a show about pol pot, then visit toul sleng museum, then off to the killing fields. then you understand the country and its people well. then visit the markets, museum, more temples. go on cruise along the river and stop at the many craft villages along the river. rest and dine at the many french look like cafe. they do good pastries. the nat'l park is not worth going.

vietnam is big:
north part - use hanoi as the base. stay in the old quarter which is charmingly chaotic and rustic. going around the old quarter alone is an adventure. visit literature temple, ho chi minh mosuleum, walk around ho kiem lake, watch water pupet show. i recommend you visit the surroundings like nat'l park, hoa lu and spend 2 day 1 nite at halong bay on a junk.
to see the remote vietnam, i recommend sapa, i enjoyed the trip there. i took the 2 days 3 nites package on the highland (cool temerature) and saw the many tribes living and working in their traditional ways. i went there on an eve sleeping train (10 hours).
middle part - hue is religiously historical, ok to visit. danang is a nice beach resort town. i enjoyed staying and swimming there but weekend can be packed. muine is another beach resort near ho chi minh city, but danang is better.

south part - you see more effects on war in this part of vietnam. use ho chi minh city as a base. visit the museums, presidential residence, more temples, shopping complexes, day & nite markets. visit cu ci tunnels and war museum. i enjoyed the 3 day 2 nite tour of mekong delta (can tho and my tho) with home stay. i saw many interesting activities there.

malaysia - too modern throughout the country. kuala lumpur is so cosmopolitant, second to s'pore. u see more cultures in m'sia than any other countries in the world.
langkawi is a beautiful duty free island with nice beaches - unwind yourself there and shop till u drop.
if you want to experience the wild m'sia, go to sabah and sarawak in the bornoe island. sabah offers beautiful unspoilt islands for unwinding, lush tropical rainforest to explore, climb the highest peak in southeast asia, fishing, visit the orang utan sanctuary and many more. and there's so much to see in m'sia. contact me

fyi, m'sia is more expensive than cambodia and vietnam but things are more systematic and less hassle.
