Hi There
Hanoi Pacific Hotel : I have travelled extensively, and stayed in many Hotels, although this is not 4-5 Star.. VIN and his team were certainly 4-5 Star, they would have to be the most co-operative, helpful people, nothing is too much and not a request for Tip etc. Daily fruit Basket was delectable, rooms were Small and Extra Clean, but the Team outweighs the odd minus. Hanoi as a City is noisy, so noise expectation is only that of Traffic etc which is 'Par for the Course' travelling these Countries. Be patient it is tolerable if not an experience. I would return in a Heart Beat and intend doing so. Value for Money..you could'nt do better. Lorraine- Australia 7 Day Stay.

i recently spent several months travelling in vietnam, and about 2 weeks in hanoi using 3 hotels, but there are so many in the old quarter to choose from that are priced well. you dont mention prices you wish to pay so i suggest you take a look at this site i use very frequently. good prices and described well. www.wotif.com its an easy site to use |

I'd use Golden Sun if you want to be in the tourist area and close to the old part of town. I'd suggest Van Mieu Hotel if you don't want to be among the tourists. Both have web sites. |
