sure, you can get a cyclo to take you around the old town [ nice on the 1st day so you become familiar w/ the area. real nice day trips [ or overnight] are available to the purple pagoda[ hiking would be involved], ha long bay boat ride. overninghting in mai chau valley was really nice, and a few days in sapa is great... there are a number of 1-3 say tours out of ha noi you can go w/ a formal company or get yourself a motor bike driver. |
