Has anyone stayed at the Caravelle Hotel Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam ??

I haven't stayed there, because I have a house in HCMC, but I ate and drank there. I used the bathroom there too.

It is a very nice hotel. 5-stars all the way. Every detail is scrutinized. Everyone who associates with their guests speaks English fluently and are exceptionally courteous. There is a casino in the hotel, but I have not been in it yet. I live a couple hours away from Vegas, so casinos in another country aren't all that entertaining to me.

You can't beat the location. It's in the middle of the major activity area of District 1, so it's walking distance to many major attractions there. The opera house is so close that you can literally hit it with a rock from the front door.

If you're into luxury accommodations, the Caravelle is certainly a good choice when staying in HCMC.

Yes, It's a very nice 5 star hotel in HCM city for foreigners

Yes I have stayed there, and recommend it without hesitation as long as your budget can stand it. Check proces at www.asiarooms.com and try to book well in adavnce.

Just returned from there 2 weeks ago. Top class, prices reasonable when compared to UK prices.

Centrally located and most of the touristy sights are within walking (or TukTuk - very cheap) distance. Go to the War Museum, really sobering to see what the country suffered during the French/US 30 year wars.

Pollution from the vehicles is not as bad we expected, 10 times better than Bangkok!

The humidity there is the biggest problem for westerners!

I stayed at the Majestic but Caravelle looks nice and yes I had a meal there ,The staffs are polite and the food is good too. you will be in the middle of everything once you stayed there.hey when I go to Vietnam again this August i might want to stay there at Caravelle

We stay with family when in SaiGon; so we haven't stay there. It looks good on the outside though. If you are looking for reviews for it you might check tripadvisor.com

Good Luck.
